The difference between full blood and purebred
Full Blood Awassis are those that come to the USA as:
live animals, embryos, and semen that are traceable back to the original
import from a known and approved full blooded herd (Full blooded- coming from a lineage of only the Awassi breed.)
Purebred- coming from a lineage that has been bred up from another breed.
Ewes are considered pure-bred at the F4 generation, and rams at the F5 generation.
Animals can be registered as either Full Blood or Purebred with accompanying documentation. If you do not have documentation your ewe can be registered as part of the breed-up program
